Provides family support and short-term assistance to families whose children are identified as having mental, physical, social, or behavioural needs, and are at risk of being removed from their home. Workers provide in-home parenting education and support to clients including how to bond with their child, how to establish household routines, parenting skills, how to become a role model. Workers offer support at scheduled client meetings with outside professionals.
